Beechworth Toy Library is for anyone who works with, plays with or helps children - Individuals, families, grandparents, carers, playgroups, schools & kindergartens!
Beechworth Toy Library existed in an informal manner prior to 1995 thanks to the hard work and vision of a small number of parents. A fire destroyed all toys and files in 1995 and the library was homeless and barely functioning for the next year until the insurance payout enabled the complete refurbishment of the location and restocking of the toy library. In 1996 the library was incorporated and thus began the current journey of providing fantastic resources for the families of Beechworth and surrounding communities.
